  • 3 tablespoons avocado oil
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • ½ cup fig preserves
  • ½ cup raw pecans (chopped)
  • Fresh thyme (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toast the pecans in a skillet over medium heat for 1-3 minutes until crunchy. Mix with fig preserves in a bowl.
  3. Place feta in an oven-safe dish, drizzle with avocado oil, and sprinkle with oregano and black pepper.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Lower the temperature to 350°F (175°C), stir the feta, top with fig mixture and bake for another 12-17 minutes until bubbly.
  5. Garnish with fresh thyme before serving warm with toasted baguette slices or pita chips.
