  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs or panko
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Drain and pat dry the crab meat to remove excess moisture.
  2. In one bowl, combine breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, beat the egg.
  3. Coat the crab meat with flour, dip it in the egg wash, then roll it in the breadcrumb mixture until evenly coated.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the coated crab pieces in batches for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Transfer to paper towels to drain excess oil, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve with dipping sauce if desired.
