  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine vegetable oil, sugar, eggs, pumpkin puree, and vanilla extract; whisk until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and ginger; gradually add to wet ingredients.
  4. Beat cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Pour half the batter into the pan; spread cream cheese mixture on top and cover with remaining batter.
  6. Prepare streusel by mixing sugars, butter, flour, spices, and sprinkle over the cake.
  7. Bake for about 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before serving.
