  • ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp BBQ sauce
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
  • 1 tsp liquid smoke (for that classic smoky flavor)

Instructions

  1. Slice beef into thin strips against the grain.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, honey, and BBQ sauce until smooth.
  3. Add smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes (if using), and liquid smoke; mix well.
  4. Marinate sliced beef in the mixture in a resealable bag for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  5. Preheat dehydrator or oven to 160°F and lay out marinated beef strips without overlapping.
  6. Dry for about 4 hours until firm but slightly pliable.
