Method
Prepare the Muffin Batter
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just mixed.
Add Blueberries
- Gently fold in the fresh blueberries into the muffin batter.
Coat and Bake
- In a separate bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon for the coating.
- Spoon the batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture on top of each muffin.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool and Serve
- Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
