Ingredients
  

Pie Crust
  • 1 pre-made pie crust or homemade
Filling
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1 cup chocolate chips semi-sweet
  • 1 cup pecans chopped

Method
 

Prepare the Pie Crust
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the pie crust in the pie pan and set aside.
  2. If using a homemade crust, roll it out and fit it into the pie pan.
Make the Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the corn syrup, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and bourbon until smooth.
  2. Stir in the chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
Bake the Pie
  1. Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.
  3. Let the pie cool for at least 2 hours before serving.
