Method
Prepare the Pie Crust
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the pie crust in the pie pan and set aside.
- If using a homemade crust, roll it out and fit it into the pie pan.
Make the Filling
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the corn syrup, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and bourbon until smooth.
- Stir in the chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
Bake the Pie
- Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.
- Let the pie cool for at least 2 hours before serving.
