Preheat your oven to 350° F.
Cut the black olives into small pieces for the eyes and slice the red bell pepper into forked tongues.
Unroll the pizza dough onto a clean surface.
Cut the dough into 12 strips and roll each strip into a 12-inch rope.
Wrap each rope in a spiral around a greased wooden chopstick or metal straw.
Brush each wrapped snake with olive oil and sprinkle with poppy seeds or sesame seeds. Place black olives on top for eyes.
Bake the prepared snakes on parchment-lined baking sheets for about 11 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
While still warm, poke red pepper pieces into the flat end of each snake as tongues.
