Prepare Chicken Filling
- In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken, mashed avocado, mayonnaise, lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until combined.

Assemble Sandwiches
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side, place a generous amount of the chicken filling, then top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Top with another slice of bread, buttered side up.
Cook Sandwiches
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Carefully flip the sandwiches and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.
