Ingredients
  

Salad Base
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • 1 cup celery, diced Fresh celery adds crunch.
  • 1 cup red apple, diced Granny Smith or Honeycrisp work well.
  • 1 cup grapes, halved Red or green grapes can be used.
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped Toast for extra flavor.
Dressing
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Use light mayonnaise for a healthier option.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed is best.
  • 1 teaspoon honey Adjust to taste.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt To taste.
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper Freshly ground.

Method
 

Prepare the Salad
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, diced celery, diced apple, halved grapes, and chopped walnuts.
  2. Toss the ingredients together until well mixed.
Make the Dressing
  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, honey, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
Combine and Serve
  1. Pour the dressing over the salad mixture and toss until everything is evenly coated.
  2. Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes for flavors to meld.

Notes
