Ingredients
  

Vegetables
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 1 pound carrots peeled and cut into sticks
Glaze
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Method
 

Prepare the Vegetables
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the Brussels sprouts and carrots.
Make the Glaze
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
Combine and Roast
  1. Pour the glaze over the vegetables and toss to coat evenly.
  2. Spread the vegetables in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  3. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the vegetables are tender and caramelized.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
