Crockpot Beef Stew

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 pounds cubed stew beef
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly cracked
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon beef bouillon
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1.5 pounds golden Yukon potatoes cut into chunks
  • 2 cups sliced carrots
  • 1 large yellow onion sliced
  • 1 cup frozen sweet peas
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons water

Method
 

  1. Pour the beef broth into your crockpot and add the cubed stew beef. Sprinkle over garlic powder, black pepper, salt, beef bouillon, and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Add your cut potatoes, sliced carrots, and onion on top of the seasoned beef.
  3. Place the lid on your crockpot and set it to cook on high for about 4–6 hours or low for 6–8 hours.
  4. Once your stew has cooked, stir in the frozen sweet peas.
  5. Create a slurry by whisking together cornstarch and water until smooth. Slowly pour this mixture into your crockpot while stirring gently.
  6. Replace the lid on your crockpot and turn it back to high heat for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened.
