Method
Prepare the Marinade
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.
- Reserve half of the marinade for later use.
Marinate the Chicken
- Place the chicken breasts in a zip-top bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over the chicken.
- Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
Cook the Chicken
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Remove chicken from marinade and discard the used marinade.
- Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
Serve
- Slice the cooked chicken and drizzle with the reserved marinade.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
