Ingredients
  

Cabbage Steaks
  • 1 head green cabbage cut into 1-inch thick slices
Garlic Butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika optional for flavor

Method
 

Prepare the Cabbage
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage and cut it into 1-inch thick slices to create 'steaks'.
Make Garlic Butter
  1. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  2. Add minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika to the melted butter, stirring well to combine.
Roast the Cabbage Steaks
  1. Place the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over both sides of the cabbage steaks.
  3. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the edges are crispy and the cabbage is tender.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
  2. Drizzle any remaining garlic butter over the top and enjoy!
