Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 package marshmallows 10 oz
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
Decorative Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips for drizzling
  • 1/4 cup crushed gingerbread cookies for topping

Method
 

Prepare the Pan
  1. Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Set aside.
Melt the Mixture
  1. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter.
  2. Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Stir in the ground ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until well combined.
Combine with Cereal
  1. Remove the saucepan from heat and add the Rice Krispies cereal.
  2. Stir until the cereal is evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.
Press into Pan
  1. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan.
  2. Using a spatula, press the mixture evenly into the pan.
Add Toppings
  1. Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the top of the treats.
  3. Sprinkle crushed gingerbread cookies on top while the chocolate is still warm.
Cool and Cut
  1. Allow the treats to cool completely in the pan.
  2. Once cooled, cut into squares and serve.
