Ingredients
  

Chicken and Broccoli
  • 1 lb ground chicken preferably lean
  • 4 cups broccoli florets fresh or frozen
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for cooking
Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons honey preferably raw
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce low sodium recommended
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger minced

Method
 

Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger until well combined.
Cook the Chicken
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ground chicken and cook, breaking it apart with a spatula, until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Add Broccoli
  1. Add broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
Combine and Serve
  1. Pour the sauce over the chicken and broccoli, stirring well to coat everything evenly. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  2. Serve hot over rice or noodles, if desired.
