Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground chicken can substitute with turkey
  • 4 cups broccoli florets fresh or frozen
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for cooking
Sauce Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons honey adjust to taste
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce low sodium preferred
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder or 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder or 1 inch fresh ginger, grated

Method
 

Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, mix together honey, sriracha, soy sauce, garlic powder, and ginger powder until well combined.
Cook the Chicken
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula.
Add Broccoli
  1. Add broccoli florets to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until broccoli is tender.
Combine with Sauce
  1. Pour the sauce over the chicken and broccoli mixture. Stir well to coat everything evenly and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
Serve
  1. Remove from heat and serve hot, optionally over rice or noodles.
