No Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Bars

Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips optional

Method
 

Prepare the Pan
  1. Line a 9x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
Mix Ingredients
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, peanut butter, honey, and cocoa powder. Mix until well combined.
Add Chocolate Chips
  1. Fold in the chocolate chips if using.
Press into Pan
  1. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking pan and press it down firmly into an even layer.
Chill
  1. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set before cutting into bars.
