Ingredients
  

  • 1 ¼ cups creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup salted butter (room temperature)
  • 1 ¼ cups light brown sugar (packed)
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your baking sheets.
  2. Beat the creamy peanut butter and salted butter together until smooth.
  3. Add the packed light brown sugar and granulated sugar to the mixture and beat until fluffy.
  4. Mix in the eggs one at a time followed by the vanilla extract.
  5. Whisk together the all-purpose flour and baking soda, then gradually add to the wet ingredients.
  6. Scoop out dough and shape into balls, pressing down with a fork to create a cross-hatch pattern.
  7. Bake for 12–13 minutes until golden brown, then cool on a wire rack.
