Prepare Potatoes

- Add the shredded cheddar cheese, beaten egg, flour, salt, and pepper to the mashed potatoes. Mix until well combined.
Shape and Coat
- Form the potato mixture into sticks or logs.
- Coat each stick in bread crumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
Fry the Sticks
- Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the potato sticks in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
Serve
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
