Ingredients
  

Salmon Balls
  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillet skin removed
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs preferably whole wheat
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
Creamy Avocado Sauce
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Method
 

Prepare the Salmon Balls
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the salmon, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, parsley, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined, then form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the salmon balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Make the Creamy Avocado Sauce
  1. In a food processor, combine the avocado, lime juice, minced garlic, Greek yogurt, salt, and pepper.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Serve
  1. Remove the salmon balls from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  2. Serve warm with the creamy avocado sauce on the side for dipping.
