Ingredients

  • 8 ounces crescent rolls 1 refrigerated tube
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 4 ounces sour cream
  • 1 pound ground beef or ground turkey for a leaner option
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded lettuce
  • jalapeños, chilies, or any other toppings to taste

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Gently press the seams together to form a solid rectangle.
  3. Place your prepared crust in the preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes until it's lightly golden.
  4. While your crust is baking, heat a skillet over medium heat. Add your ground beef (or turkey) and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed. Stir in the taco seasoning according to package instructions until well combined.
  5. In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth and creamy. Spread this mixture evenly over your baked crust.
  6. Spread the seasoned meat mixture over the creamy base. Top with diced tomatoes, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, shredded lettuce, and any additional toppings you desire.
  7. Return your assembled pizza to the oven for an additional 5 minutes or until everything is heated through and cheeses are melted.
  8. Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing into squares or wedges.
